By registering to bid on any sale you (the bidder) agree to our Guidelines as well as our Terms & Conditions listed below in addition to any additional terms per individual sale.

Crossroads Estate Liquidation Guidelines

We will be fair and honest with our buyers and clients. We expect the same in return. If there is an issue we will work it out. Any issue that cannot be worked out between the seller and the buyer will be handled by our Licensed Auction Firm Manager. 

A bid is a legal binding agreement. If you don’t intend to honor your bid please don’t place one.

Our pickup locations vary, please pay attention to the sale location and make sure you are able and willing to be at the subscribed pickup time. Many of our sales are estates and only scheduled for a single day pickup.

Crossroads Estate Liquidation Terms & Conditions

Buyers Contract: A bid is a legal binding contract. Buyers are responsible for honoring their purchases and payment is expected in full before leaving the premises with your items.

Payment:  Credit Card Payment can be made via link on your invoice, or through your bidder profile. We use secured merchant Stripe for credit card processing. If you are paying by credit card, payment must be made prior to pickup.  We will except EXACT CASH during pick up. All invoices are charged a 15% buyers premium. This fee covers cost associated with platform and processing. We don't except any form of Checks

Sales Tax : Sales tax will be automatically be calculated on your invoice based on a variety of factors including:  Your State, City and County jurisdiction requirements on all items that are purchased. 

Auction Closing Schedule: Unless otherwise noted each online auction is Absolute Auction, closes One (1) every 30 seconds, unless a bid made within the two (2) minutes, then the listed item will automatically be extended for an additional (2) minutes.

Bid Increments: Starting Bids May Vary ,  After starting bid is met, increments are in $1 increments up to $49.00, $5 increments up to $99.00, $15 increments up to $199.00, $20 increments up to $499.00, $50 increments up to $499.00, $100 increments anything at or above $1000.

Consignors or owners of merchandise are prohibited to bid on their own merchandise. This is know as "shill" bidding and is illegal. 

Auctioneer/Staff may bid as long as they are bidding for personal purchase and they have no ties of ownership of merchandise. 

Merchandise Pick-up: Pick-up location will be posted on the winning bidder's invoice along with pick-up time. If you cannot make the pick-up time please DO NOT BID! No merchandise will be removed from a location or transferred to another location unless paid in full. BRING HELP, BRING TOTES/BOXES, BRING PACKING MATERIALS!

Failure to Pick-Up or Pay for Merchandise:  It is solely the responsibility of the winning bidder to know they won items, the pickup date and time. We don't remind you or make phone calls, are time is dedicated to our clients and bidders the day of pickup.  If a buyer fails to contact the Auction Supervisor or Firm Manager or fail to show up to pick up their items they will immediately lose bidding privileges. Bidding privileges will only be reinstated when the buyer pays all invoices in full whether or not the merchandise is still available to the buyer. 

Please add are email address to your contacts and or check spam folder for invoices to be sure you receive them. All invoices are sent out directly after the auction ends.

Shipping: See shipping Terms for each auction on site.

Inspection of Merchandise: Please inspect your items closely before leaving the property, once you have left the property they are yours. We try to write the conditions to the best of our ability but there is always a matter of interpretation. Please consider and understand that many of the items we sell are estate pieces, and in used condition and will show general signs of wear. If you need additional information about an item or would like to see the piece, please contact the Auction Firm Manager or listed Supervisor for that particular sale.

Untested Merchandise: We cannot test all items, therefore, items sold as "Untested" are sold AS-IS with no warranties expressed or implied.

Use of Site: Crossroads Estate Liquidation Services, LLC , Staff and its Associate Sellers cannot, and will not, be held responsible for any interruption in service, errors, and/or omissions, caused by any means and does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or error free service or use of the Site. Bidder acknowledges that this auction is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. Crossroads Estate Liquidation Services, LLC  in its sole discretion, may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding and re-sell any item/lots that were affected by any malfunction. The decision by the Auction Firm Manager is final. 

Bidder acknowledges that all photos and descriptions are the sole property of Crossroads Estate Liquidation Services, LLC and may at no time be copied or reused without written approval from Crossroads Estate Liquidation Services, LLC. The Bidder understands that this will result in their account being immediately suspended or terminated.

Indemnification: Buyer agrees to indemnify Crossroads Estate Liquidation Services, LLC , its Affiliates, Staff or Clients for any damages or losses. Buyers will not hold Crossroads Estate Liquidation Services LLC, Auction Firm Manager, it’s Owners, Affiliates, Clients or its Staff, liable for accidents, injury, damage, illness, theft, or incidents related to this their purchase.

Buyer & buyers help or others on site with buyer during pickup assumes all risk of, any injury, damage or illness incurred by any person, property or vehicle, during or in any way arising out of entry into or upon the seller's premises for any reason including inspection of item(s) and pick up of item(s) purchased, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, property damage, medical expenses, and loss of services.
Auction firm licensed and bonded by the State of Ohio Department of Agriculture.

Shipping is available for this auction. Please read and follow the below instructions.

Call or text Dawn before bidding if you have questions at 740-804-3214. 

We charge in house packing fee of $10 for each lot on top of shipping charges, if we ship. If you have multiple boxes we discount the packing fee. Example: First 2 boxes $10 each, after $5 each. 

Some items will need to be boxed and shipped by UPS. Typical items we don't ship are heavy items, items that don't fit in are standard size boxes, items of high value, and breakable items. 

We don't control what UPS charges, but we don't charge a drop off fee to you. 

Steps for shipping include the below. 

1. Pay your item winning invoice first.

2. We will send you another invoice for fees and/or shipping costs.

3. Pay your fee invoice next

4. After your invoice and fee invoice are paid we will drop your items off at UPS. 

5. If we send your items to UPS for boxing and shipping, you will pay your invoice first, then we will drop off items and UPS will contact you for payment of shipping costs. 

Please make sure we have the correct address on file. We are not responsible for any discrepancies in system. You can update your info in your profile. 

As a reminder we don't offer refunds, exchanges, credits, and everything is sold as is with no warranty. We are a auction company items are from estates or consigned from clients. 

Your items are insured through UPS. Any package damage you would need to contact them with any issues.
